Lamu Oil and Gas has completed a 2D seismic survey of block L14 situated in the Tana River and Delta districts in Kenya's Lamu basin.
The survey covered 731 line kilometres in the block and was carried out by BGP Kenya. Processing of the seismic data has been completed and interpretation of the data, to identify prospective targets for further seismic work or drilling, has already started and should be completed by the end of May 2014.
