Maersk Oil enters into exploration joint venture with Hess Corporation in the US Gulf of Mexico-Spotlight

Maersk Oil has appointed Tim Ingram as HSEQ Director.

Tim has joined Maersk Oil from Ithaca Energy, where he was HSEQ Manager, and brings a wealth of oil and gas industry experience to the post.

Maersk Oil managing director Kurt Normann Nielsen said, "I am delighted to welcome Tim to Maersk Oil in this important role for the company. We have a very clear focus on improving our HSEQ performance and culture and are totally committed to maintaining a safe working environment at all times. Tim's substantial experience from across the oil industry will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goals."

Tim previously held a range of operational engineering roles with Marathon and Texaco, and more recently he worked for the Health and Safety Executive, where he was a Principal Inspector. Immediately prior to joining Ithaca Energy, Tim was HSEQ Director for PSL Energy Services.
