Subsea 7 has appointed MeteoGroup as its offshore weather forecasting provider for UKCS and Canada operations. Drawing on its extensive experience in the offshore sector, MeteoGroup will provide critical meteorological and metocean consultancy and services to help maximise operational efficiency.
The contract includes forecasting for fixed locations, specific sites and routes plus medium range forecasts via the Ensemble Prediction System (EPS).
