In order to better accommodate its clients’ growing demand for express deliveries in the region, Move One Logistics has opened yet another UPS Center in Iraq, in the city of Baghdad.
The new office is staffed by highly trained logistics professionals, and acts as the coordination hub for deliveries both within the city and its environs. It also has administrative and on-site storage capabilities, allowing for easy integration from tracking to physical reception of deliveries.
“We have a great advantage over other logistics groups in the area,” said Ali Al-Saadi, Move One’s UPS operations coordinator. “Our new facility offers customers an easy and convenient access to a variety of options for domestic and international shipments. It is located in the strategically advantageous Al Mansour district, by far the city’s most accessible area, therefore we are able to get our consignments out quickly and in a reliable manner.”
In addition to many of the standard UPS services, Move One’s new Baghdad office provides Express Services (0.5 kg to 70 kg) as well as Expedited Services (0.5 kg upwards). For deliveries of 100kg and over, the Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) department will be able to assist customers.
“The first export shipment out of our new facility was performed a week ago to an extremely satisfied client. We delivered 588 kg of books to four different destinations, all of which arrived in mint condition and ahead of delivery deadlines.” added Al-Saadi.
