The Equipment Sales and Rental division of industrial cleaning and environmental waste management specialist, the MSIS Group, has been awarded three significant equipment orders – worth a total of over £200,000 – recently, by Louisiana-based Charter Supply Company.

The contracts involve a range of clean up equipment, to be utilised on board new build drill ships which are currently under construction in South Korea.

The equipment includes liquid recovery units, specialist pumps and pressure washers, which all help maintain a clean working environment on offshore drilling installations.

The current boom in new build programs for fixed and floating platforms, drill ships and FPSOs has resulted in a significant increase in interest and demand for MSIS’ range of specialist cleaning products.

MSIS’ Equipment Sales and Rental manager, Lynne Barron, commented “We are delighted to have won these orders from Charter Supply Company and we believe that the combination of quality of product, competitive pricing and short delivery times have contributed to our business success.

“We are keen to develop further opportunities with operators and supply houses, as our range of equipment is designed to maintain the highest level of environmental standards in all drilling conditions.”

MSIS Group Offshore Business Manager, Graham Holloway, added: “The success of our Equipment Sales and Rental division compliments the full range of products and services that MSIS offers offshore operators in cleaning and environmental services.

“Combined with our experience in specialist offshore tank cleaning we are delighted to be able to extend our range of products to the drilling construction market in this way.”
