John Meaden

NCS Survey Ltd., an Acteon company, has appointed John Meaden as managing director.

Meaden brings more than 30 years of experience in the offshore survey industry to NCS Survey, which offers a wide range of high-quality survey services using industry-leading technology. This invaluable experience will help the company in its drive to expand. Before joining NCS Survey in September 2011, Meaden was survey manager for Subsea 7 in northern Europe and managing director of Fugro–UDI in Aberdeen, Scotland. He started his career as a field surveyor and an offshore party chief before moving into project and commercial management.

“This is an exciting time for NCS Survey,” said Meaden. “I am very much looking forward to the challenge of continuing to deliver growth and global presence while developing our technologies and maintaining the highest levels of service to our clients. Our work force is now over a 100 strong and we have added offices in Stavanger, Norway, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to our long established base in Aberdeen. Our aim is to build significantly on this platform in both our existing and new target markets.”
