Technical integrity and asset assurance expert iicorr has reported new contracts worth almost £1million. The majority of the work has been secured by the firm’s specialist Inspection & Corrosion services team. The contracts have been placed by Oil & Gas operators Fairfield Energy and OMV, plus leading energy industry services companies Oceaneering and Schlumberger.

The projects have varied in scope from supply and installation of high tech corrosion & sand monitoring systems to the development of bespoke non-destructive technology (NDT) inspection tooling for risers & J Tubes. The client base has stretched from the UK Continental Shelf and Central Europe, to the Caspian region and Central Africa.

Donald Ballantyne, sales director, said: “iicorr is a strongly performing part of a specialist business line within our parent company Stork Technical Services. Our core capability of providing technical integrity solutions to both the traditional and renewable energy industries continues to be further strengthened with Stork Technical Service’s established expertise in Inspection, Testing & Heat Treatment. A strong emphasis has been placed on investment in R&D to provide new solutions for our clients’ inspection & monitoring needs - the combined global presence of both iicorr and Stork Technical Services has greatly enhanced our capability to provide effective and quality services to our customers in countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Sudan and Australia.

Donald added: “At the core of these services are teams of motivated, experienced and competent professionals. Industry leading technology has to be supported in equal measure by top quality personnel that will maintain the highest safety standards and best practices.
