NorTex Gas Storage Company declared the appointment of Robert Foss as President and Chief Executive Officer. Foss joins NorTex from Iberdrola Renewables (IRI), where he was most recently managing director of compliance and risk management, with more than 20 years of professional experience in the energy industry.

Starting his energy career with the El Paso Companies as manager of gas transportation services in 1988, Foss also spent three years with Shell in various positions, including vice president of supply and director of market development. He joined AGL Resources in 2001 as vice president of pipeline and gas operations prior to going to IRI in 2004. Foss holds a BBA in banking and finance from the University of North Dakota.

'I am excited to have been selected to lead NorTex at this time in its evolution,' Foss said. 'I look forward to working with the NorTex team to deliver reliable, competitive and innovative products to our existing and future customers while aiding NorTex in achieving its full potential.'
