Odfjell Well Services (OWS) has been awarded a three year Tubular Running Services contract by BP Norge for the Norwegian sector.
The contract award covers Valhall and Skarv for the next three years with an option to extend a further 2 x 1 years.
"Odfjell Well Services are very pleased to have been awarded this contract from BP Norway. This contract recognizes Odfjell Well Services as a quality provider of Tubular Running Services and we will provide BP with proactive and safe services," said Executive Vice President in OWS Mr. Øyvind Rohn.
The contract value for the first three year period is expected to be approximately 60-70 MNOK.
The contract will commence June 1, 2010, and for the next 5 years BP Norge has planned to drill a significant number of wells on these assets.
