Origin Energy Geothermal Pty Ltd, on behalf of the Innamincka Shallows Joint Venture, advises that geothermal exploration well Celsius 1 has been cased and suspended following the completion of the planned testing program.

Target temperatures in excess of 145 degrees Celsius were obtained, establishing one critical element. However preliminary results indicate reservoir permeability (a key contributor to commercially required flow rates) is below target at this location.

The next two possible drilling locations are Boyle 1 (100% Origin) in permit GEL 185 and Fahrenheit 1 (50% Origin, 50% Geodynamics) in permit GRL 21. The order of these wells will be dependent on timing of approvals for both locations. Both locations will provide valuable additional information regarding the extent and nature of the resource outside the Celsius area.

Geothermal exploration well, permit GRL 8, is located in the Eromanga Basin, approximately 18 kms south-west from the township of Innamincka in northern South Australia.
