26,713 attendees from 75 countries/regions came to OSEA2012 from Tuesday 27 November to Friday 30 November, making this edition the biggest turnout Asia’s premier oil and gas trade event has ever seen.
Mr. S Iswaran, Minister, Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade & Industry, who was Guest-of-Honour at the OSEA2012 Opening Ceremony, commented that “OSEA’s success mirrors the evolution and growth of Singapore’s marine and offshore industry.”
“With rising colossal economies in China and India, Asia is raising the demand for energy, especially in the offshore sector, worldwide. This, coupled with the discovery of many energy spots off Asia’s coastlines, have generated strong interest from visitors at the event, prompting many exhibitors and visiting companies to express interest to participate in the next edition. Some have booked their booth space at OSEA2014 – The Platinum Edition,” says Mr. Chua Buck Cheng, Project Director for Engineering Events, Singapore Exhibition Services (SES), organiser of OSEA.
