Paradigm-11

Paradigm™ will present key technological advances introduced in the Paradigm 2011 release at the 87th Society of Petroleum Engineer’s Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE), in Denver, October 30 – November 2. Conference attendees are invited to the Paradigm booth # 953 for live technical demonstrations featuring the latest innovations introduced in Paradigm 2011 via the unique SKUA® technology. These innovations enable reservoir engineers to rapidly and easily simulate and analyze realistic multi-geological scenarios to understand the impact of geology on production and ultimate recovery.

The Paradigm technical program will feature scheduled presentations covering these four themes:

• Reservoir characterization and petrophysics • Well testing • Reservoir modeling and reservoir engineering • Well planning, drilling and geosteering

Paradigm will also collaborate with Beicip-Franlab (www.beicip.com) in a daily joint presentation entitled “Increase confidence in production estimates using geologically-constrained history matching” which will illustrate how Paradigm SKUA, coupled with Beicip-Franlab’s history matching solution in OpenFlow™, provide a unique integration of the geological modeling process into the history matching process. The joint presentation will be held on the Beicip booth (#1254) on Monday and on the Paradigm booth (#953) on Tuesday.

“History matching with SKUA uncertainty modeling and Beicip-Franlab’s OpenFlow reservoir solution include the modification of the geological model and the engineering parameters that uniquely facilitates the integration,” said Jean-Claude Dulac, chief technology officer of Paradigm. “Paradigm has always stressed the ongoing importance of integrated technology solutions to advance the energy industry.”

Technical demonstrations by the Paradigm Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will begin each day at 9:30 AM MDT. The Paradigm SMEs will also be available to answer questions regarding the company’s technology offerings. Pre-scheduled one-on-one demonstrations featuring Paradigm’s solutions for formation evaluation, well testing, reservoir modeling and engineering, and well planning and drilling are available upon request.
