The project, valued at approx. Murugan Pitchai, executive vice president for Petrofac's Engineering, Construction, Operations & Maintenance (ECOM) division commented: 'To have achieved first oil ahead of schedule on our first lump-sum offshore EPCIC in South East Asia is testimony to the combined efforts from Petrofac's ECOM and Integrated Energy Services teams along with our partner and the keen interest and involvement from PETRONAS.'
