Primat Recruitment, part of the AMEC Group, reports four new appointments as it continues the expansion of its recruitment team to meet the growing needs of the business.
Andy Hogan has been appointed as Senior Consultant for Middle East and North Africa (MENA), based in Surrey with a secondary office in London, Susan Hughes joins as Senior Consultant for Nuclear recruitment, based in Manchester. Tom Boydell has been appointed as Recruitment Consultant for the Power and Process Europe (PPE) business in the Darlington office and Christina Waters will join Primat as a Recruitment Consultant in London working in Greenfield oil and gas recruitment.
The recruitment consultancy, which proactively serves the Energy, Power, Process and Built Environment sectors, has undergone significant growth over the last 12 months as it works to support AMEC's ambition for growth, as outlined in AMEC's Vision 2015. Primat recognises these latest appointments as fundamental components for its future success in UK and overseas operations.
Andy, whose notable experience in recruitment spans over more than 17 years, will be responsible for resourcing highly skilled individuals to work on oil and gas engineering projects in MENA regions. This marks a significant development in Primat's overseas projects and relationships with international clients. Andy has established a wealth of expertise in talent acquisition for oil and gas, engineering and construction markets in his previous role as a Client Manager, which saw him travel throughout the Middle East, North Africa and North America to visit clients and sites.
At Primat, Andy will use his extensive knowledge of the MENA sectors and be responsible for leading the drive into overseas operations. He is excited by the challenge ahead: "I am delighted to be joining such an innovative and customer focused company. I have been impressed by the strong growth pattern of Primat and am now looking forward to playing an integral role in developing the team."
With an impressive wealth of twenty years' recruitment experience, Susan will develop Primat's Nuclear division where she will head the sourcing of the industry's most talented individuals, to deliver the consultancy's customer requirements. Before joining Primat, Susan held senior recruitment and management positions where she gained valuable specialist knowledge of recruitment in the Nuclear industry.

I'm looking forward to being involved in developing the service capability of Primat Recruitment in such a dynamic sector.'
Tom, who previously worked as an Account Specialist and an Assistant Manager, has sound knowledge of oil and gas recruitment and a strong focus on client requirements, which he will apply for his new role in PPE.
Christina will begin her position as Recruitment Consultant on the 19th April.
