The Board of Directors of Ramba Energy Limited says that the Company has commenced drilling of the Akatara-2 appraisal well - the third exploration well to be drilled at the Lemang block - with spud in occurring at 1700 hours on 12 June 2013.
The Akatara-2 well will have a total depth of 6,560 feet true vertical depth, or 7,500 feet measured depth. The Akatara-2 well is targeting the Intra Gumai Sand Formation, Upper Talang Akar Formation, Lower Talang Akar Formation, and the Crystalline Basement.
