The Halmahera survey is located in one of the least explored parts of the Eastern Indonesian archipelago and covers approximately 32,000 sq. km over the main parts of the South Halmahera Basin. The basin is located in the Halmahera Sea, Indonesia, which lies immediately to the south east of the Indonesian Islands of Halmahera and to the north west of Western New Guinea (formally Irian Jaya).

Data will be processed with a full suite of deliverable products and scheduled to be available from July 2010.
