Sherritt International Corporation announced the appointment of Mr. Adrian Loader as Director, effective immediately.
Mr. Loader has over 35 years experience in the resource sector around the globe, principally with Royal Dutch Shell, where he held a wide range of executive and senior operational positions. Before retiring from Shell at the end of 2007, Mr. Loader served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Shell Canada.
Mr. Loader is currently Chairman of Oracle Coalfields PLC (an international coal developer); a Director of Holcim Ltd (a global supplier of cement and aggregates); and a member of the Garda World International Advisory Board (global private security company).
