Aberdeen-based integrated services company SKN Electrical Services (SKN) has secured a multimillion pound contract with Talisman Energy (UK) Limited to oversee the safety standards of electrical and instrumentation equipment on its North Sea assets.

The contract will run for five years, with SKN providing trained personnel to carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, inspection, decommissioning and integrity assurance services for ex certified electrical and instrumentation equipment.

Comprehensive onshore management support will also be provided to back up Talisman’s offshore teams working on all of its North Sea assets.
