Peak Well Systems has followed up the introduction of its large bore SIM System technologies for the North Sea well intervention market earlier this year with the appointment of Steve Moir as Technical Sales Manager for the region.

The SIM System, a range of slickline-installed, mechanically-set tools for flow control and well integrity, has recently been granted a patent, and Peak has a successful track record of over 1,000 successful deployments elsewhere around the world.

Steve joins Peak from Aberdeen-headquartered service company Expro North Sea where he has spent the last 10 years in a variety of operational and customer roles, latterly in the prominent position of Account Manager for several of the largest and most active North Sea Operators. Prior to that, Steve worked for Halliburton for seven years in different operational roles.
