Shipping company Bopurbon has reported that all nine of the offshore ship crew seized off the Nigerian coast at the weekend have been released.
All were in good health, and the company thanked the Nigerian authorities and others for helping effect their release. The crew members "will be reapidly reunited with their families and friends," a statement from Paris said.
The fast well-intervention vessels Bourbon Leda was hijacked offshore Nigeria during the early hours of Sunday 4 January 2008.
Meanwhile, wire news were reporting the attack Wednesay by another group of gunmen. Scandoil.com could not confirm the story.
