Audit – anchoring analysis for Polar Pioneer-Spotlight

StatoilHydro and partners ENI and Wintershall have drilled a duster at the Snoehetta prospect in Block 6609 100 kilometres northwest of the Norne field.

Cretaceous-age sandstone was the target of semi-submersible drill rig Polar Pioneer, which now heads to the Snoehvit area for well 7120/8-4.

Operator StatoilHydro owns 60 percdnt of Snoehetta, while Italian oil company ENI and Wintershall each own 20 percent.
