London-based quality control specialist Velosi has won a $4.7 million BP contract in Indonesia for “technical services” onshore and off.
The core of the contract appears to be “laser scanning” for “as-built blueprints”.
Velosi also signed deals with Technimont of Italy for process inspection and with Truong Song for manpower in Vietnam.
ConocPhillips, meanwhile, has struck a “global master services agreement” in the United States for inspection and expediting services plus manpower. All agreements were signed this summer, a year after Velosi’s stockmarket launch.
