StatoilHydro gets consent to use Transocean Arctic

Transocean Arctic

StatoilHydro has received consent to use the mobile facility Transocean Arctic for well clean-up on the Tyrihans field.

In January 2008, StatoilHydro received consent to use Transocean Arctic for drilling and completion (link) of 11 injection and production wells on Tyrihans.

Well clean-up had not been mentioned in the application for consent. The company therefore submitted an additional application for consent to conduct well-clean-up of 11 wells.

Consent was granted on 16 December 2008.
