DONG Energy can confirm rumours that the company has strategic considerations about its future engagement in Stadtwerke Lübeck GmbH.

A process that may result in the sale of DONG Energy’s share has been initiated. DONG Energy is a minority shareholder in Stadtwerke Lübeck GmbH, with a 25.1 per cent stake.

DONG Energy is highly satisfied with the cooperation with Stadtwerke Lübeck, but needs to release capital for new investments as part of its ambitious growth strategy.
