StatoilHydro has signed completion equipment and services for on the Norwegian continental shelf that are good for NOK 1.2 billion ($233 million) in orders a year over three years.
The contracts are worth a combined NOK 3.6 billion ($700 million).
“(These contracts) contribute to standardising completion solutions across the business units,” company subsea vice president, Øystein Arvid Håland, said in a statement.
Six three-year contracts — each with two, three-year long options — have been awarded to Baker Oil Tools, Halliburton, Roxar, Schlumberger, Weatherford and Welldynamics.
Their work starts 1 September 2008, the oil company said.
The award covers all former Statoil assets on the Norwegian continental shelf.
