Technip awarded a major frame agreement for subsea pipelines in West Africa

Technip declares that Julian Waldron is appointed Chief Financial Officer.

Reporting directly to Thierry Pilenko, Chairman and CEO of Technip, Julian Waldron is a member of the Executive Committee.

Julian Waldron joins from Thomson where he was Chief Financial Officer from 2001 and interim Chief Executive Officer from March 2008 to August 2008. He started his career at the investment bank UBS Warburg where he spent 14 years. Julian Waldron is a graduate of Cambridge University.

Commenting on his appointment, Thierry Pilenko stated "Julian Waldron brings an impressive and well rounded international experience to Technip. I am convinced that he will contribute significantly to our efforts to improve our financial performance. We are very pleased to have him on board".

Julian Waldron succeeds Olivier Dubois, Chief Financial Officer since June 2002; he leaves Technip to give a new direction to his career.
