Tendeka has agreed a distributor agreement with Matpatson Petroleum Services for the exclusive promotion and sale of Tendeka products in Nigeria.
Tendeka’s technologies help operators better manage and monitor reservoir performance and increase overall recovery.
Its high resolution and robust oilfield distributed temperature sensing acquisition systems lead the global market. The company also offers a wide variety of mechanical sand and water control options, including inflow control devices and swellable packers and recently launched its retrofit wireless pressure/temperature gauge which has been successfully deployed in the North Sea.
Tendeka CEO Gary Smart said: “The agreement with Matpatson Petroleum Services gives Tendeka access to a very important market and will provide operators in Nigeria with the very best technology to monitor, manage and control their completions and reservoirs.
“Our technologies are now deployed in all the world’s major oil and gas regions and our expansion into Nigeria is the latest development in what has been a short and exciting history for Tendeka so far.”
Matpatson was formed in 2002. The company’s aim is to maintain, ensure and sustain a continued development and availability of indigenous expertise in Nigeria for the oil and gas industry.
Matpatson’s 51 staff will promote Tendeka’s completions and monitoring technologies within their portfolio of well engineering equipment both onshore and offshore Nigeria.
