Teton Energy announces DJ Basin pilot wells connected to gas sales

Teton Energy Corporation appoints Steve Godfrey to the position of Vice President of Operations. Mr. Godfrey will be responsible for all drilling, production and completion operations for Teton. The appointment is effective March 31, 2008.

Mr. Godfrey has over 27 years of oil and gas experience with a major emphasis on drilling, production and completion operations. Steve has worked for Forest Oil since 2001 serving in various capacities including Director of Drilling -- US, Onshore Drilling Manager and Gulf Coast Onshore Drilling Manager. During that time, Steve was responsible for all day-to-day operations in addition to contracting, design and budgeting.

Prior to Forest Oil, Steve spent 21 years with Texaco and held several positions including Senior Drilling/Asset Manager, North America West Area Drilling and Completion Manager and various engineering positions. In both venues, Steve built a strong team targeted at efficient and cost-effective results. Steve has worked in numerous areas including the Rocky Mountains, Mid-Continent, Permian Basin, South Texas, Louisiana, Offshore California, Alaska and Canada.

Mr. Godfrey has a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado.

Dominic Bazile, Executive Vice President and COO stated, "Steve is a very experienced oil and gas professional who will direct all of Teton's drilling, production and completion operations. We are focused on expanding our portfolio of Teton-operated properties to better control the level and pace of capital spending. Steve will be an integral part of that effort as we position Teton for increasing growth in the coming years."
