Timan has declared with immediate effect the appointment of Nikolay Laptev as Head of Production.

Mr. Nikolay Nikolayevich Laptev, aged 47, will be overseeing the field operations and business development of operating subsidiaries of the Group, including NGPT, KNG and Geoterm.

Mr. Laptev's oil industry career commenced when he joined Beloil as Deputy General Director of its Tyumen operating subsidiary in 1994. He then continued his career at Lukoil, the leading Russian oil company, initially as General Director of Lukoil-Tyumen, moving on to join the company’s Head Office in Moscow as Head of Business Development and Oil Products Sales. Mr. Laptev's most recent roles at Lukoil were First Deputy General Director at Lukoil-CenterNefteproduct and subsequently at Lukoil-Aero.

Mr. Laptev graduated from the State Oil and Gas University in Tyumen, followed by a Master's Degree at the Russian Transport Academy and a Ph.D at the Moscow State Institute of Finance.
