Trelleborg Offshore Norway AS signed a 16 MNOK contract with Shell in Brunei.

Another international breakthrough for Trelleborg Offshore Norway!

The contract is based on delivery of ELASTOPIPE™, a corrosion free flexible piping system developed by Trelleborg in Krokstadelva, Norway. ELASTOPIPE™ is used for several piping applications, like firewater pipes, seawater piping and even transportation of hydrocarbons.

The first international contract for ELASTOPIPE™ was in 2004, since then the piping system has been supplied to Holland, Denmark, UK, Qatar, Canada, Singapore, USA, Russia, Australia and finally for this contract to Brunei in South East Asia..

Trelleborg in Krokstadelva opened a new production line for production of ELASTOPIPE™   in December last year, this contract will the first major project in the new factory set up.
