Wood Group has opened a new office in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This new office will provide a broad range of Wood Group s services and products, including operations & maintenance, commissioning, and other technical services, to the Brazilian market.

Most of oil & gas companies operating in Brazil have offices in Rio de Janeiro, explained Alexandre Quadrado, Wood Group s country manager for Brazil. This new office will allow us to be closer to them, providing a quicker response than from our operational base in Macae.

The office is located in Barra de Tijuca, a growing area of Rio de Janeiro where many oil and gas operating companies and service companies are located.
