The Hensarling #1 well, drilled on the Desiree Prospect, flowed at rates of 370 bbls per day, 70 mcf/d gas and minimal water through a 20/64 inch choke with 262 psi flowing WHP unassisted from the Cris R III sand.
The well will be shut in while production facilities are installed on site. These facilities are expected to be completed within 3 to 6 months.
The well will produce the reserves of the Cris R III, following which, the overlying Cris R II will be perforated for production.
The well reached a TVD of 12,455ft in mid-December 2012. Electric logging operations confirmed net pay of 31ft in the Cris R II and 49ft in the Cris R III sands. Post drill reserves estimate 952,000 bbls oil and 0.4 BCFG in the Cris R II & III.
