Petrobras stands tallest after Round 10

Brazil’s state income earner Petrobras has won half of the 54 blocks on offer in the National Petroleum Agency’s Round 10 of licensing, Spanish-language news bureau EFE has reported.

Valued pre-salt areas around the headlin-making Tupi field were off limits, a move that confirms a Scandoil.com report that Brazil would focus on the Campos Basin’s shallower pre-salt areas to pay for and understand deeper pre-salt exploration.
