Paradigm™ reported that after a competitive evaluation, Cairn Energy PLC (Cairn) has chosen the Paradigm interpretation toolkit as its next generation 2D and 3D seismic interpretation solution. Cairn will use the new system to interpret new 3D surveys acquired last year in offshore Greenland. The announcement was made at the 2012 European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) Annual Conference and Exhibition, in Copenhagen, Denmark, held June 4–7.

Following a thorough review of all available options, Cairn Energy chose Paradigm’s seismic interpretation solution because it offered a modern and comprehensive toolkit built on a robust data management infrastructure allowing streamlined workflows with reduced data administration.
