Offshore construction giant Subsea 7 has won a Petrobras contract worth $250 million to supply its pipe-lay vessel Normand Seven for four years starting in third-quarter 2009.
The ship can lay flexible pipe in water 2,000 metres deep, a requirement at the Roncador field in the Campos Basin offshore central Brazil.
