A new, fully-integrated incident investigation, reporting and management tool being implemented by EnQuest is believed to be an industry first for the North Sea.
The innovation integrates two well-established market-leading systems for the first time, which together enable seamless incident investigation, reporting and management from start to finish, unlike many standalone, off-the-shelf solutions.
EnQuest, the largest UK independent producer in the UK North Sea, was the driving force behind the development of the tool, which involved embedding Kelvin TOP-SET’s specialist investigation software with DNV GL’s Synergi™ Life tool, which is dedicated to capturing, categorising and recording incidents.
