Pemex Exploration and Production (PEP) has awarded Dragados Offshore SA and its subsidiary Dragados Offshore de Mexico SA the project execution, including engineering, procurement, construction, load-out, sea-fastening, transportation, installation, hook-up, testing, commissioning, and start-up of the living quarter platform denominated "HA-LT -01," with a capacity of 201 beds, which will be installed in the area of Campeche, Gulf of Mexico.

The works will take place entirely in Mexico, from the yard Dragados Offshore owns in the city of Tampico.

The project will be executed over a period of 2 years with a scope that covers the topsides, including the living quarter module of five stories, a helicopter deck and two equipment decks, with a total weight of about 4500 tons, the jacket and piles of 2200 tons, and the platform interconnection bridge.

The purpose the platform is to provide accommodation, meals, recreation, training, fitness, administrative services, first aid and basic medical services for the operation and maintenance personnel working on the connecting operations platform and satellite drilling platforms of the Integral Assets Litoral de Tabasco field in the Campeche area of the Gulf of Mexico.

The installation of the living quarter platform will be carried out by "float-over," which will be the first module to be installed by this method in the Gulf of Mexico.

With this new contract, Dragados Offshore maintains its leadership in the design, fabrication, commissioning and start-up of offshore oil and gas platforms in the Mexican sector of the Gulf of Mexico.
