DAP2016

Asia Pacific is emerging with a high-growth opportunity as depleting shallow water fields drive the industry into deeper waters. Deepwater currently accounts for 7% of regional offshore production, but prospects are for a rise to 17% by 2020. This will result in Asia Pacific accounting for 20% of the global USD 223 billion deepwater capacity over next 5 years. Spending on drilling and completion of deepwater development wells could rise from some USD 400 million in 2012 to exceed USD 2 billion by 2017.

Despite the volatile oil market that has made a huge impact on all deepwater oil and gas players in APAC, the opportunities along with new challenges still attract the attention of global oil and gas giants. New blocks information released by Indonesian upstream government will generate new business cooperation opportunities as well as new investment projects.

With the outstanding success of the Deepwater Series over the past 11 years, the organisers have announced that the 13th Deepwater Asia Pacific 2016 (DAP2016) and Deepwater Asia Pacific Awards 2016 will be held 7-8 December in Jakarta Indonesia. The event is highly recognised for its unique networking opportunities, high level speakers and an expanded program that offers topics covering the upstream offshore industrial chain and highlights the cooperation/coordination opportunities in Asia Pacific deepwater market.

Key issues to be discussed include:

  • New Regulations, Policies and Mega-Trends of Indonesian Offshore Industry.
  • Official Interpretation of New Blocks Releases in Indonesian Offshore Oil Fields.
  • Offshore Market Opportunity & Project Showcase in APAC.
  • Latest Technology Updates on Drilling & Rigs.
  • Cutting-edge Technology on Subsea Production System.
  • Worldwide Best Practices of FPSO & FLNG in APAC.

DAP2016 is committed to bring together high-ranking executives and shareholders from upstream offshore industry, to discuss the opportunity and challenge in the Asia Pacific’s upstream offshore industry, to showcase the latest technologies and projects, to forge the new partnership, and to contribute to the best players.

DAP2016 is co-related to Asian Premier Summit FPSO & FLNG Asia. For more information, visit www.ffa-annual.com
