Mr Geoff Loudon, Chairman of L&M Energy Limited, says that a corporate re-organisation to reflect the increasing focus on Coal Seam Gas has resulted in the functions of the dual Managing Director structure being rationalised to a single Managing Director.

As a consequence, Mr John Bay has agreed to stand down and Mr Kent Anson has been appointed sole Managing Director.

The Company wishes to thank Mr Bay for his contribution to the Company and wishes him well for his future endeavors.

Mr Bay will continue to represent L&M Energy on the Petroleum Exploration and Production Association of New Zealand ('PEPANZ') as Chairman.
