7th IPTC in Doha to set new records

The 7th International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) is poised to set new records, as it will feature the biggest exhibition and technical conference programme in IPTC’s history.

To be held at the state-of-the-art Qatar National Convention Centre in Doha from 19 to 22 January 2014, the 7th IPTC is will feature a 7,000 net sqm exhibition area – marking a substantial increase from the last edition in Beijing. The event will have a 9 stream conference, featuring 67 technical sessions, and is expected to draw some 6,500 visitors – over twice the amount of people that attended the last edition held in Doha, in 2009.

With the theme, "Unlocking Energy through Innovation, Technology and Capability", IPTC Doha captures what the industry needs to do in the face of evolving global energy trends and to overcome the technical challenges at present.

“IPTC DOHA highlights the importance of technological innovation and international cooperation in ensuring the industry’s continued growth and development in the coming years.
