Addax Petroleum announces results of exploration potential study

IDS, the largest provider of web-based daily reporting services to the upstream oil and gas industry, has signed a new contract to provide drilling reporting services for Addax Petroleum.

IDS was invited to participate in a selection process to find a global solution for drilling reporting systems for the international oil and gas exploration and production company. Addax Petroleum selected IDS's DrillNet as the most flexible and cost-effective solution to the challenge of its remote drilling locations.

Saskia Schils, Performance/QAQC Drilling Engineer, Addax Petroleum, says: "The one-on-one training offered by IDS across the internet is a huge positive for us as a global operation in often isolated sites. Having a 24/7 support team included in the daily charge was also very important in ensuring the service is cost effective."
