AKITA Drilling appoints new Director

AKITA Drilling Ltd. has appointed Henry G. Wilmot to the Company's Board of Directors effective November 14, 2014. Mr. Wilmot will stand for election at the Company's 2015 Annual Meeting of Shareowners.

Mr. Wilmot, 61, has broad based business experience including 39 years with the ATCO Group of Companies. During that time he held progressively senior positions and was most recently President & Chief Operating Officer of ATCO Structures Inc. and ATCO Frontec Corp. Mr. Wilmot also has 12 years of senior management experience in the energy service industry in Canada.
