Amec Foster Wheeler director resigns

Simon Thompson

Amec Foster Wheeler says that having served 6 years as a director, Simon Thompson has advised the Board of his decision not to seek re-election at the company's Annual General Meeting on 14 May 2015.

Consequently, with effect from the end of the Annual General Meeting, he will stand down from the board and his roles of Senior Independent Director, Chairman of the remuneration committee and member of the audit and nomination committees.

John Connolly, Chairman of Amec Foster Wheeler plc, said: "Simon has served us extremely well for the past six years and I, his fellow directors and the company thank him for his valued contribution."
