American Patriot Oil and Gas Limited has acquired an additional 15,999 gross acres in Montana, USA with 12,638 gross acres acquired on the Northern Star project and 3,360 gross acres acquired on the Panther project.

AOW now controls a 30% net working interest in the Northern Star project covering 49,352 gross acres and 41,258 mineral acres (12,377 net to AOW/28,881 net to Treasure) in Valley County, Montana. On the Panther project, AOW now controls a 100% net working interest in 12,150 gross acres and 10,293 net mineral acres to AOW in Garfield County, Montana.

On the flagship Northern Star tight oil project the latest land acquisition lifts our position to a significant 12,377 net mineral acres. This acquisition follows JV partner Treasure Exploration's recent application for three drilling permits on the Northern Star project with the Montana Board of Oil and Gas and is well advanced in selecting the first horizontal well location with drilling expected to commence in Q4 2014'
