ANCAP will be presenting its next E&P offshore bidding process at the Latin Upstream Conference on May 27, 2011, in the framework of the 17 th Latin Oil Week in Rio de Janeiro.
This is a traditional annual conference where energy ministries and licensing agencies, oil companies and regional advisors, present their outlook for E&P in Latin America and launch their projects, such as licensing round announcements, data package releases, as well as presenting new development and exploration activities and opportunities.
The ANCAP representative will inform in detail about the offshore petroleum systems and models, direct and indirect indicators of hydrocarbons presence, identification of oil and gas leads and prospects. The presentation also will cover issues as areas to be bided, work program commitments, improvements in the legal framework, environmental regulations, Uruguayan investment promotion policies and other issues of interest for the oil companies evaluating its participation in the Uruguay Round II bidding process.
