Acergy acquired the Borealis

Travel management company ATPI has signed a three-year contract with long-term customer Acergy, the seabed-to-surface engineering and construction contractor to the offshore oil and gas industry worldwide.

Continuing the established five-year relationship, the new contract includes a mandate to further consolidate Acergy’s global travel requirements in Singapore, United Arab Emirates and India, where ATPI has demonstrated a strong market proposition and ability to support Acergy in these designated countries.

Adam Knights, Group Sales Director, ATPI commented: “We are delighted to have secured the Acergy business for a further three years. Our international growth strategy complements Acergy’s own expansion objectives and the partnership will bring new international market opportunities.”

Keith Tipson, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Acergy commented: “ATPI has successfully developed its business internationally and its high client servicing levels accommodate the increasingly demanding needs of our company.

“After successfully consolidating and supporting our main global locations over the past five years and demonstrating consistent year on year savings to our business, we are particularly impressed with ATPI’s increasing global presence and strong account team. We look forward to continuing our relationship with ATPI for a further three years.”
