ATR - Power Solutions facility

ATR Group has signed a new long-term lease, relocating its Power Solutions division into a new purpose-built facility in Aberdeen with 50% more space than the previous address.

The agreement for the workshop and office space at the ABZ Business Park near the city’s international airport in Dyce will see the company better equipped to service existing customers and increase capacity for new business.

The 43,000 square foot area has two open plan offices, designated storage areas, a fully concreted yard with a wash bay three-stage interceptor, two eight tonne overhead cranes, and eight metre-wide workshop doors allowing easy access for the larger of the machines in the fleet including Zone II compressors and 1250kVA generators to be housed and repaired.

The new building, which will house the 20-plus personnel who have moved from the company’s previous location in Dyce, could potentially accommodate up to double the staff in the future. It also has a dedicated room where the company will be able to deliver its Zone II compressor as well as other equipment familiarisation training by their in-house qualified personnel.
