ATR Group report key appointments to support growth strategy

ATR Group, the plant, lifting and tool rental specialist, reports the appointment of Scott Cormack in the role of Business Development Director, further strengthening the group's focus on delivering market leading plant, tool and lifting solutions to companies operating in the global energy market.

With a proven background in the oil and gas sector, Scott has held senior posts covering commercial, sales and marketing roles. Scott will have the responsibility for generating and securing new business opportunities in both established and new markets and is well placed with a strong technical background, gained over his 15 years in the market.

Keith Moorhouse, Managing Director, commented, 'We are very pleased to welcome Scott on board at this time of progression. He has exceptional drive and will be focused on our clients, ensuring all expectations are met from both a value and technical perspective. Scott will head the business development team and drive all sales and marketing activity in line with our business plans and strategy.'

'We are committed to the ongoing development of our business and by appointing Scott we are confident that we will continue to build relationships to ensure that the business is aligned commercially, technically and operationally. His overall skill-set will undoubtedly assist the group in our development as we look towards a new year.'

Keith concludes, 'ATR supports our clients operating in the engineering, construction, maintenance and subsea sectors of the oil and gas market. Key staff appointments, such as Scott, are vital to maintaining ATR's strong client relations within these sectors.'

Further senior appointments include Findlay Moir in the new role of Divisional Manager for ATR's lifting and inspection division.

Findlay is responsible for the group's lifting and inspection business, providing strategic direction for the development of related products and services. Findlay has experience of over 25 years in the oil and gas sector and brings with him a vast knowledge of this specialist sector, having previously held senior positions in this sector and is well placed to drive this division as the group continues to evolve.
