Birns, Inc. - Catalin Kreis

BIRNS, Inc. has appointed Catalin Kreis as its new Marketing Communications Executive.

In her new position Kreis will be responsible for spearheading the BIRNS social media program, providing creative direction and overseeing operations for trade shows, and coordinating with the sales department as a customer liaison. In addition, the organization of all media buys and art work will be under the supervision of Kreis in her new role. Reporting directly to the company’s Director of Corporate Communications, Kreis will focus on developing ongoing strategic marketing strategies and initiatives for BIRNS in all its target markets.

Kreis originally joined the team at BIRNS in 2010 as Marketing Communications Coordinator, with duties that included contributing and updating content for the BIRNS website, and project management for all interdepartmental upgrades. Kreis holds a BA from the University of Arizona with a focus on elementary education. Prior to joining the team at BIRNS, Kreis was an Executive Marketing Associate at Bear Enthusiast Marketing Group where she managed the agency’s day-to-day operations and oversaw multi-million dollar advertising buys. Kreis has also served as Account Manager at Silent Partners, Inc., where she managed the company’s silent/live auction events, and created silent, live, and eBay auction catalogs for non-profit organizations.

“We’re thrilled to have Ms. Kreis as our Marketing Communications Executive,” says Eric Birns, company President and CEO. “She has been a welcome asset to our growing marketing team, and we look forward to the new levels of excellence her expertise will help our company achieve in our plans for future growth in the subsea and nuclear power markets.’’
