Bow Valley Energy Ltd. declares that Matthew L. Janisch, Vice President Finance & Chief Financial Officer, has tendered his resignation, effective immediately.

Until his replacement is appointed, Mr Janisch's duties will be assumed by the President and Chief Executive Officer and other members of management with the continued oversight by the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee.

R. G. Moffat, President and CEO of Bow Valley stated: "On behalf of the Board of Directors, we wish to thank Mr. Janisch for his many contributions to the Company over the past few years and wish him well in any future endeavours."
